Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is a famous British film and stage actress that gained fame after she starred in the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu's part in the show as Tish Jones became very well-known. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was set to pursue an acting career after the audience were captivated by her cheerful spontaneity. Other stage and television productions in the UK include a variety of different productions. Critics have praised her for her role on "Belle" (2013), an English period drama and "Beyond the Lights" which is a romantic comedy. Also, she appeared in American television productions like "Undercover" which is a Tom Hanks comedy film, as well as the series "Touch". Gugu Mbatha Raw performed the role of a leading character of an actress and mistress in the show 'Nell Gwynn,' played by Jessica Swale. In the wake of receiving plenty of praise from the critics for her excellent acting abilities, she was nominated by Evening Standard Theatre Award. Gugu was given with the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth.

Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on February 25, 1975, in Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest child within a household of six. Handler's mother was a domestic worker and her father was employed as a used-car dealer. Her mother was a German immigrant who came to her home in United States in 1958. Handler was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989 and was able to die after fighting the disease for ten years. Handler's father was Jewish so she raised up Reform Judaism. Handler enjoyed a happy good, healthy and safe childhood within a thriving neighborhood. Handler moved to Los Angeles when she was 19, to pursue acting. Handler had to turn into an actress to live. However, when she was 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, because she realized her story telling abilities. The beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career as a member of the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on the hidden camera/comedy reality show on TV called Girls Behaving Badly. This show aired from 2002 until 2005. Handler then started appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler appeared on The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Her breakthrough occurred in 2006, when she began hosting her program on E! This show was named The Chelsea Handler. The show ran over two years. Handler continued her stand-up career by performing on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have aired Handler's stand-up shows. It was announced in 2010 that she was to host the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. As a result, she was the only female host in history in the same category as Roseanne.
